1week training programme organized under the Guidance of Principal Dr N.V.S Raju (Convenor), and Vice Principal Dr. B.V. Ram Naresh Yadav (Co-convenor).
A one-week Employability Skill Training Programme was conducted at JNTUH University College of Engineering Wanaparthy (UCEW), in association with Mahindra Pride Classroom, TASK, and Nandi Foundation. The programme was designed to enhance the students’ soft skills, professional behavior, and employability attributes, making them more competent for campus placements and professional careers.
DAY-1(25th AUGUST) : IAM UNIQUE
The programme began with an interactive session titled “I Am Unique”. The session encouraged students to discover their individuality, strengths, and values. Through self-assessment activities, they understood the importance of confidence, self-awareness, and personal branding. The session helped students recognize that uniqueness is their strength in both personal and professional life.
The session also stressed on the importance of self-esteem, positive attitude, and self-motivation as key ingredients for employability and success. By the end of the day, students realized that identifying what makes them unique is the foundation for career planning, communication, and professional growth.
On the second day, the focus shifted to “Professional Ethics”. Trainers highlighted workplace values such as honesty, responsibility, teamwork, and accountability. Real-life case studies were discussed to help students differentiate between ethical and unethical practices. The session emphasized the role of integrity and ethical decision-making in building a successful career.
The third day was dedicated to the “Art of Speaking”. The resource persons conducted activities on voice modulation, clarity, and effective communication. Students practiced extempore speaking and storytelling to improve their fluency and confidence. The session equipped participants with practical tips to overcome stage fear and develop impactful speaking skills.
The fourth day was highly practical, focusing on “Interview Preparation”. Students were guided on resume writing, grooming, and handling interview questions. Mock interviews were conducted to give real-time experience, followed by constructive feedback from the trainers. This session built confidence among students to face technical and HR interviews effectively.
On the fifth day, students participated in “Group Discussion” activities. Trainers explained the importance of GDs in recruitment processes and evaluated students on communication, listening skills, and logical reasoning. Multiple group discussions on current topics were conducted, allowing students to improve their teamwork and leadership qualities.
Day six focused on “Presentation Skills”. Students were trained on designing effective PowerPoint slides, structuring presentations, and delivering content with confidence. Participants practiced presenting on given topics, which enhanced their stage presence, time management, and ability to engage an audience.
The final day was marked by “ Felicitation&Certification”. Students received certificates for successfully completing the programme. Faculty, trainers, and dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the participants. The valedictory session highlighted the achievements of the week and encouraged students to implement the acquired skills in their academic and professional journey.

University College of Engineering, Wanaparthy organized a Robotics Workshop on 9th September 2025.
Objective of the Workshop:
The main aim of the workshop was to introduce students to the fundamentals of robotics, automation, and embedded systems, and to provide hands-on experience in building and programming basic robotic models.
Workshop Highlights:
1. Inauguration:
The event began at 10:00 AM with an inaugural session graced by Dr. N. V. S. Raju (Convenor) and Vice Principal Dr. B.V. Ram Naresh Yadav (Co-convenor) of the college, who emphasized the growing importance of robotics in various engineering domains. The Vice Principal Dr. B.V. Ram Naresh Yadav, welcomed the participants and the resource persons.
2. Topics Covered:
The day-long session was structured into theory and hands-on practice. Key topics included:

Introduction to Robotics and its real-world applications

Overview of sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers

Basics of Arduino programming

Line-following robot design and implementation

Problem-solving using robotics kits
3. Hands-on Sessions:
Students were divided into teams and provided with robotic kits. Each team successfully built and programmed a simple line-following robot, with guidance from the trainers. The interactive nature of the session encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
4. Student Participation:
Over 147 students from various departments participated in the workshop. The enthusiasm and engagement levels were high throughout the event.
5. Feedback and Certificates:
At the end of the workshop, students shared their feedback, expressing appreciation for the practical learning experience. Participation certificates were distributed to all attendees by the organizing committee.
The Robotics Workshop held on 10th September 2025 was a great success, combining technical education with experiential learning. It not only celebrated Engineers’ Day meaningfully but also sparked interest in the field of robotics and automation among the students. The workshop added immense value to the participants’ academic and professional development.

One Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) on September 24, 2025 sponsored by DCMSME, Mew Delhi, Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises , Govt. Of India, organised by NSIS-Technical Services Centre, Hyderabad in association with University College of Engineering Wanaparthy.
The program commenced at 10:00 AM with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal, Dr. Dr. N.V.S. Raju (Convenor) and Vice Principal Dr. B.V. Ram Naresh Yadav (Co-convenor) along with the chief guest Mr. Abdul Khadar, Manager of NSIS-Technical Services Centre, Hyderabad.
